Aged for a mammoth 7 and a half years, over half of which spent in oak. An impressive bright purple red colour. The nose offers up aromas of fig, toffee, leather and cigar box. Intense flavours on the palate, which open up and expand as one continues to enjoy this wine. The tannins are still lively, despite the age and the finish is long and persistent.
